GAIA Resort supports this initiative and will cooperate by making our directly operated accommodations available wherever possible.

The program is intended to assist not only people displaced by the disaster but also medical professionals, government officials, firefighters, police officers, Japan Self-Defense Forces personnel, volunteers, and others involved in relief efforts.

ガイアグループは、東日本大震災を経験した宮城県の企業として、「災害への備えは、平時からの地域との連携によって築かれるもの」であると考えています。

Learning from the Great East Japan Earthquake

As a company based in Miyagi Prefecture that experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake, GAIA Group believes that disaster preparedness begins with strong partnerships built long before an emergency occurs.

Guided by this belief, we have continued working with municipalities through disaster-response agreements and by preparing accommodation facilities and housing that can serve as temporary shelters during emergencies.

We regard accommodation facilities not only as places for travel, but also as an important part of the social infrastructure that protects both local residents and visitors.
