A Notebook for Everyday Life — How FamilyMart Zao Togatta Supports the Zao Community
A notebook for school, a place to record work reminders, or a way to remember the highlights of a journey. Being able to buy an everyday essential close to home can make a real difference.
Operated by GAIA Group, FamilyMart Zao Togatta offers more than food and drinks. Stationery, daily essentials, clothing and everyday services help support the people who live, work and stay in the Zao area.
A New Campus Soft-Ring Notebook Arrives on November 6
From November 6, 2026, FamilyMart began rolling out an updated stationery range developed with Kokuyo under its Convenience Wear brand.
The featured item is the Campus Soft-Ring Notebook, A6 size, B-ruled, Convenience Gradation. Its green-to-blue cover features the refreshed Campus logo.
Kokuyo’s flexible resin rings are designed to feel softer against the hand while writing and make pages easier to turn. The compact A6 format is useful at school, at work, for everyday notes or while traveling.
Product details: Gradual release from November 6, 2026; JPY 398 including tax (JPY 362 before tax); A6 size; B-ruled pages. Although sold through participating FamilyMart stores nationwide, stock at FamilyMart Zao Togatta has not been confirmed. Please check availability in store.
Everyday Stationery Is Part of Community Infrastructure
Zao is home to residents of different generations and welcomes second-home users, newcomers, people living between two regions, workers and GAIA Resort guests.
An urgently needed notebook for school, a replacement memo pad during work, or a place to record travel memories may seem like small purchases. Having essentials close at hand creates practical everyday convenience.
FamilyMart Zao Togatta provides groceries, drinks, household goods and clothing, as well as services such as ATMs, parcel delivery and bill payments. The store operates 24 hours a day, supporting everyday life and visitors to the area.
Putting the Zao Forest of Well-being Initiative into Everyday Practice
GAIA Group’s Zao Forest of Well-being Initiative aims to create a community where people of all ages and abilities can live with peace of mind and have meaningful roles.
Care facilities alone cannot sustain community life. Shopping, dining, housing, work and opportunities to connect with others are also essential.
By operating FamilyMart Zao Togatta, GAIA Group is taking responsibility for a practical part of the area’s infrastructure. We want to listen to local needs and develop the store as a community infrastructure station.
Supporting the Albergo Diffuso Way of Traveling
The GAIA Resort Zao Sansuien area holds Ospitalità Diffusa international certification, part of the broader Albergo Diffuso approach that connects accommodation with local restaurants, shops, hot springs and community life.
Guests can stay in a private villa, enjoy local dining and purchase everyday necessities nearby. These same services first and foremost support local residents, helping create a place where visitors can stay as if they live here.
Together with nearby Zao Shokudo, Sakai Coffee Zao Sansuien-mae and other local businesses, the convenience store is part of this wider network.
A Store for Residents and Visitors Alike
The pleasure of choosing stationery, the convenience of buying essentials and the reassurance of accessible everyday services all help make a community welcoming.
GAIA Group will continue developing FamilyMart Zao Togatta as a place that supports those who live, work and travel in Zao. We look forward to welcoming you.
