Among them were a fascinating crab spider whose markings resembled a human face, a young praying mantis quietly resting on bamboo leaves, fireflies announcing the arrival of early summer, delicate wildflowers blooming along forest streams, and crystal-clear mountain waters flowing through the valleys.
